Why we need Mentis Neuro Rehabilitation
In the United States every year 1.5 million people will sustain a
traumatic brain injury (TBI). Currently 5.3 million Americans are
living with a TBI-related disability. The leading causes of TBI are:
- 28% falls
- 20% motor vehicle accidents (MVA)
- 11% assaults
- 41% other causes
Forty percent of those hospitalized with a brain injury have at
least one unmet need for services at the time of discharge. The
